- We gather publication and other information from many publicly accessible repositories. This information is only added to your account if we can match the grant reference number to one of the grants held by you.

- We also allow research organisations to upload information from CRIS to Researchfish and create data in your account; for example if we can link a grant reference number to your account.

- You can also give us permission to reuse information in your ORCID account, to create records in Researchfish. For further details, see https://help.researchfish.com/en_US/researchers-faq-listing/benefits-of-using-orcid.

- In 2024 we extended our integrations with DataCite, OpenAIRE, Scopus, and ORCID. These new integrations have helped to create over a quarter of a million new attributions in Researchfish.

- In 2024, over 50% of new attributions have benefited from being added automatically into Researchfish, with around 25% benefiting from our search integrations, and around 25% being manually added.
