What do I need to submit in order for funders to consider it a complete submission?

Some of the Additional Questions (if your funder has assigned you any) may be mandatory, in which case it will not be possible to submit until these have been completed. There is no requirement to submit a minimum or maximum number of any particular outcome type under the Common Outcomes; what to submit is a decision for the PI, who needs to be happy that the data submitted against each award is accurate and up to date. In considering what to include, it is important to bear in mind that the funders use this information for communicating about what has arisen from the research they fund. It is vital information for them in securing ongoing funding for research, so it is in a researcher's interest to give an accurate return. Also, for UKRI-funded researchers, most data submitted to Researchfish will be exposed on the publicly available Gateway to Research site, so it is important to only enter information that you are authorised to put into, and are happy to see appear in the public domain.
