Researchfish is linked to Europe PubMed Central (Europe PMC), Europe’s largest store of open-access biomedical literature, which enables researchers to link grant information to the unique ID (PubMed ID) of an article. Europe PMC ingests grant-paper associations from Researchfish on a weekly basis, so if you are a subscribing member of Researchfish and your grant holder reports articles as outputs of a grant via Researchfish, Europe PMC will reflect that information in Europe PubMed Central. This is of huge benefit to funders, particularly smaller funders who are then recognised as having provided funding for a publication, and the ability to view further publications arising from that award, along with citations. This information enables visible pathways to impact and sharefindings with stakeholders.
