Cosmetic and Content Improvements based on user feedback
- New button added to award page to give PI’s more information about whether they are ready to submit. Under the title”Am I ready to submit?” Users are given information about what they need to fill in with links to relevant next steps.
- The download button on the awards and portfolio pages are now orange.
- Improved the behaviour of the navigation from the portfolio and awards sections when clicking on the breadcrumbs, the user remains within the section they started in.
- Tidying up the text for the “last submitted date” on awards pages.
- Link to supporting document about how funders use the data in researchfish has been added to the awards page in the blue bar at the top under heading “How your information is used”.
- Updates to the instructions around the clearing policy notices for additional questions.
- "Centre Projects" tab in top navigation for centre users updated to "Centre Submission”.
- Hard coded guidance text removed from the 4 NIHR additional questions.
- The dataset of countries used for the dropdown "What is the country that the individual has moved to?" in Next destinations has been updated.
- ORCID logo in publication entry search page has been updated to reflect their branding style guide.
Functional improvements based on user feedback
- Replaced the Publication CSV download with Excel download from the award details page for Researchers.
- Ability to close awards through the platform has been removed.
- Added columns to the Awards search for Centres in Eval, that include Award Type, Submission period, PI ID, Response code and Sharing.
- Additional questions now have the status and last saved dates added to the page the user visits.
Bug fixes
- Improved the handling of dates for awards that are assigned to a submission period that has not yet started Adding in an extra level of granularity so for example showing months and weeks or weeks and days.
- Changed field types in the dynamic RHT from number to text to ensure 0’s remain in the file as part of the update process.
- Improved handling of null values as part of the data syncing process.
- Removed r1.2.20 and r1.3.3 re open access, present in the question set download, as they are not shown on the platform any more.
Operational updates
- New text editor being trialed on specific extra section.
- Data management and migration tasks.
- Added new fields to publication_xml.
- Security updates.
- Introduction of a new data management tool to help the team manage the data in researchfish.
- Additional questions for FWF, NIHR, Lundbeck Foundation and The British Council.
- Publications Refresh from Datacite.
