P10.06 Release notes
Release Date:
Thursday, 25 July, 2024
Version:
P10.06

Take a look at the improvements and fixes added to the platform in the latest release.

Added: improved integration with PlumX: where a publication has been cited in policy or patent documents, information about this is made available in exports and via Snowflake.

Added: the ORCID harvest has been extended to supporting funding records.

Added: the filters created for Activity reporting are now retained for each user. In addition, if the time range is a user-defined range, it’s now possible to set an end-date in the future. In practice, this means that an administrator could configure activity reporting for a submission period, and they would not need to change this each day or each time they logged into Researchfish.

Added: it is now possible to store up to 5 Scopus Author IDs against a Researchfish account. In addition, IDs are now subject to some basic validation.

Improved: following on from consultation with our community, changes have been made to the Intellectual Property and Licensing outcome type, to simplify and streamline reporting to help reduce the reporting burden on researchers.

Fixed: addressed an issue with apostrophes that was breaking the link to funder-specific guidance text.

Fixed: addressed an issue which meant that it wasn’t possible to send a publication to ORCID (where a researcher has connected their Researchfish and ORCID accounts).

Note: As with many sprints, there is development work in this sprint that has not yet been released to the platform.
