Improve – Text and logic changes have been made to the Further Funding search, text changes include:
- In the search box - Funder search * Enter the name of the organisation that provided the funding e.g. Wellcome Trust, European Commission, Rolls Royce plc. The funder search displays up to the top 50 results ordered by relevance. If you cannot find what you are looking for you can add manually below:
- r3_3- Enter the total value of the funding/grant. Please ensure you enter the value in full (e.g. 1 million is entered as 1000000).
- r3_3b - If the funding was awarded to a consortium, please enter the value of the part of the funding received by you/your research group. Please ensure you enter the value in full (e.g. 1 million is entered as 1000000).
- The Researcher is required to add in a value into r3_3 whereas with r3_3b this is now an optional field where they have to add in a figure lower than the total above or leave blank.
- Improve – Our members page now includes RO Lite universities.
- Fix - Long Award Names/Titles now appear and now do not disturb the breadcrumb.
- Fix – Back button for Completed Additional Questions Eval modal window returns the Funder to the Awards Details page.
- Fix – Edit button for Completed Additional Questions and Common Questions in Eval modal window does not appear now for Funders.
- Fix – Additional Questions now show the correct traffic light colours for any that need Amber.
- Fix – The My Downloads headings are now black text on a white background when they are ordered by that column.
- Fix – When adding a Collaborator or Team Member you can now cancel and return to the Awards Detail page.
Enhanced data collection

Improve – When creating ‘Copyright’, ‘Protection not set’ or ‘Trademark’ for IP entries, the following fields have been added.
- Name or title of the discovery/development *r8_1*
- Select the year in which this protection was received. You can select 'Unknown' if appropriate. *r8_3*
- Briefly describe the discovery/development. *r8_4*
- If there is a URL which relates to this intellectual property or license, enter it here. *r8_7*
Enabling data exploration & insights

Improve – The following changes have been made to make the Exporting of data better:
- Engagement activities/entries dissemination to non_academic audiences now have the additional column for 2019.
- Additional locations data for Next Destinations, Collaborations and Partnerships and Further Funding have been added. The fields include ‘City’, ‘Region’, ‘Grid ID’, and ‘Org URL’.
- ‘Award type’ now shows the label and not the raw value.
- ‘Centre Metafunder ID’ and ‘Centre Metafunder’ now show values if they appear in the data.
- Additional columns added to Further Funding for the ‘Partial Amount’ and ‘Converted Partial Amount’.
- When a new year is added this is now not affecting the weighting and order of the columns for exports.
- All Common Entries now have the following columns: ‘ORCID Putcode’, ‘Pre-loaded publications Source’, ‘Source’, ‘Pubid’, ‘Autosync’, ‘Autosync Success’ and ‘Original Source’ as part of their export.
- Improve – new locations table added to all SQL outputs.
