Better user experience

  • Fix - When a RESEARCHER is creating a `Collaborations and Partnerships` entry, failure to add a partner or fill the required fields in now results in the right error message appearing at the top of the page.
  • Fix – Further work to fix layout snags from the recent system upgrade which included:
    • styling around the portfolio pages for all
    • tabs missing for FUNDERS on the organisation page
    • help videos not appearing correctly for all
    • styling of the publications search for RESEARCHERS
    • the login button not appearing in the correct place for all users.

Enhanced data collection

  • Improve – Updates to the wording within the common question set for Intellectual Property to enable FUNDERS to get a better understanding of where licensing takes place. Note the field affected is r8.6
  • Improve – New Additional question on Progress Monitoring ‘ for BARTS Charity.
  • Improve – New Additional question on 'ODA Compliance ‘ for Academy of Medical Sciences (AOMS).
  • Improve – Updates made to the text in the Section Guidance and the Field Name/Question Name areas within Key Findings Additional question for UK Research & Innovation (UKRI).
  • Improve – New questions added and updates made to text in the Section Guidance and the Field Name/Question Name areas within the Fellows Advocacy, Fellows Career Post Fellowship and PhDs Motivation & Career post PhD Additional questions for Cancer Research UK (CRUK).

Enabling data exploration & insights 

  • Fix – FUNDERS should find that their exports are coming through quicker now.

System updates were made to ensure the platform is accessible and secure.
