Better user experience
Improve - Wellcome Trust, EPSRC and STFC have new versions of Guidance Information added to the platform for the submission period this year.
Fix - Replaced support videos with new rebranded ones for ALL USERS: All product videos have been updated with our new brand.
Fix - Publications are now attributed to an award as expected for RESEARCHERS. When adding a publication on the “My Awards” page, associating it with an award and clicking to ‘Add to Portfolio,” the publication will be attributed to the award and “YES” will display under the "In this award" column to the right of the publication.
Fix - For a RESEARCHER, adding further funding with the ‘funding type' field pre-populated no longer results in an entry that is invalid and cannot be edited to become valid.
Fix - Fixed issue preventing a RESEARCHER with an award from submitting. "Proceed to Next Award" button now appears as expected on the submission confirmation page .
Fix - Fixed a typo in an award reference for Crohns & Colitis UK
Enhanced data collection
Improve - Validation has been added to check that there is a correctly entered ISRCTN number when answering the Medical Products, Interventions & Clinical Trials common question. When the RESEARCHER selects yes to 'Has the medical product or intervention been tested via a clinical trial?' We validate that the ISRCTN is added. If entered incorrectly (without the ISRCTN) then a warning will appear saying “Please ensure that the value added includes the prefix ISRCTN followed by the numeric code for that item, for example ISRCTN123456789.”
Improve - Interoperability Scripts: Updated metadata from a number of sources in advance of the main UK Submission period, ensuring data quality for RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS and FUNDERS, and making sure RESEARCHERS have correct publications available and can enter data quickly.
Enabling data exploration & insights
- Improve - When a new location is added to our master data, by Interfolio UK Ltd staff, via the location mapping tool, it is now immediately available using the locations search/mapping function.
