Take a look at the improvements and fixes added to the platform in the latest release.

ADDED: New additional question for FWF (Annex - Overview, Facts Sheets, CVs to Organisation).

ADDED: New additional question for JDRF (Team Composition and Industry Engagement).

ADDED: New additional question for LEO Foundation (Supervisor and Mentor Activities).

IMPROVED: Proposed changes to the Intellectual Property & Licensing question set for the Researcher to fill in.

To simplify things for the Researcher we have "Patent application published”, “Patent granted” with “Patent / Patent application”in r8_2. Existing data to be consolidated under “Patent / Patent application” .

Then adding in a new field “Patent Status”to hold the status of the patent as a metadata only field (not manually entered by the user) to contain the derived status of the IP protection e.g. (Application, Grant, Application Terminated).

IMPROVED: Proposed changes to the Influence on Policy, Practice, Patients and the Public question set for the Researcher to fill in. .

For (r6.1) Provide a short title or name for this influence on policy, practice, patients or the public’ removed the example (e.g. Citation in Cochrane Review) from the question .

For (r6.2) Select type/method of influence on policy, practice, patients or the public from this list’ updated the help text and i) Replaced Membership of a guidance committee & Participation in advisory committee with Participation in a guidance/advisory committee and ii) Replaced Participation in a national consultation & Gave evidence to a government review with Contribution to a national consultation/review.

For (r6.6) the question has been updated to read ‘Briefly describe the change(s) arising from this influence on policy, practice, patients or the public. Where possible, include evidence which demonstrates the reach and benefit(s) of the change(s).’.

FIXED: Funders are now able to download the Word Download (DOCX) from e-Val Reports.

Updates to the new theme that include:

FIXED: Sorting icon fixed on e-Val Dashboard for Administrators.

FIXED: Headings align with the listings for Researchers when using the Further Funding Search and Select tool to add an entry.

FIXED: Icons for the Common Questions and Additional Questions on the Award detail page are now aligned.

Note As with many sprints, there is development work in this sprint that has not yet been released to the platform.
