Better user experience
Improve - We’ve made several updates to enhance the accessibility of our platform for people who use assistive technologies. When doing this we also fixed the issue that ensures when the user presses the Enter button, it now always presses the most logical button on the page such as (Next, Save, Update, Login etc)
Improve - Updated information in the tour that appears when users click "Help using this page" on My Downloads page.
Improve - We’ve updated our 2020 Researchfish User Guide for RESEARCHERs.
Improve - Added 2020 and 2021 as options to dropdown fields that display when a RESEARCHER is asked to add the year an entry was started for Common Questions and known Additional Questions.
Fix - Columns in exported files now appear correctly. When a user opens a downloaded file, all column headers are correctly aligned with the information in each column, and column headers correspond to the data within those columns.
Fix - Empty rows in uploaded data sheets no longer cause an error.
Fix - Fixed several layout and display issues on our platform including:
When accessing an award or portfolio, dropdown menus now display options (such as “Filter by”) correctly
Improved the mobile display of dropdown menus
Correct font now appears in the User Guide button on our Knowledge Base page
Correct font now appears in footers across the platform
Fix - When a user creates a new publication it now syncs correctly and is added to the top of the refresh queue.
Fix - We updated the wording of the email that goes out when there is an issue with the data of an uploaded RHT. This messaging should now be clearer to recipients.
Fix - The text in the buttons on the "Add Team Member" page now fits within the box. When clicking the text the RESEARCHER is sent to the relevant page to Add delegate or Collaborator / Team member.
Fix - When a user clicks on an award from their “My Awards" page, they are now taken to the “Award Details” page for that award rather than their "Personal Portfolio" page.
Enhanced data collection
Improve - Refreshed research Further Funding sources. As part of the preparation for the large UK submission period we have accounted for additional data that can be collected from FF sources.
Improve - Updates were made to the Node and "School" categories for University of Cambridge.
Improve - Updated STFC agreements_parents table
Improve - Change made for NIHR removing any corresponding additional questions from awards if the relevant field says "No", and that additional question is currently assigned.
System updates were made to ensure the platform is accessible and secure.
